These Terms govern your use of earlhargrove.shop and your purchase and use of The Cookshack Book digital edition. By using this site or purchasing the product, you agree to these Terms.
1. Digital product
The product sold through this site is a digital publication. Checkout, payment processing, tax handling where applicable, and delivery are provided through Gumroad. Gumroad’s own terms may also apply to the transaction.
2. Personal-use license
Your purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read and use the digital book for your own household. You may make reasonable personal backup copies and print a copy for personal use. You may not resell, redistribute, upload, publicly share, or commercially reproduce the book or substantial portions of it without written permission.
3. Educational information
The book and website provide educational cooking and household information. They are not professional medical, nutrition, engineering, electrical, legal, or food-safety services. Cooking equipment, ingredients, storage conditions, local regulations, and official safety guidance change over time. Use appropriate judgment and verify safety-sensitive instructions with current authoritative guidance.
4. Food safety
Always follow current food-safety recommendations for internal temperatures, refrigeration, storage, preservation, and canning. If a book passage conflicts with current official guidance, current official guidance controls.
5. Pricing
The site may show a current promotional price and a regular/reference price. The price displayed at Gumroad checkout before you pay is the price that governs your purchase. Promotions may change or end without advance notice.
6. Refunds
Purchases are covered by the separate 30-day Refund Policy linked below. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, correct, redesign, or temporarily discontinue parts of the website. We may revise the digital publication to correct errors or improve clarity. We do not promise uninterrupted website availability.
8. Intellectual property
Site copy, book text, cover art, photographs, layout, graphics, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and digital publication are provided “as is.” We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the information. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
10. Governing rules
These Terms are intended to operate alongside mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Where a mandatory law gives you greater rights, that law controls.
